Dale was the first EMTA Secretary focusing on improving EMTA’s internal governance, communications, and transparency. He has interests in quality improvement, education and leadership and is current Co-Chair of the Quality Assurance and Improvement subcommittee, part of the Quality in Emergency Care Committee (QECC).

Dale is currently leading the development of the next iteration of the EMTA survey 2021-24 using GMC data and past Survey results to inform it for greater granularity. He also developed the EMTA fellowship app to improve access to fantastic educational opportunities around the UK.

Previously Dale has been the Chair and Deputy Chair of the BMA North-West Junior Doctors Committee during the height of the dispute, part of the National committee of Sexpression:UK (Charity) leading communications and branding and established a highly active local branch teaching Leicester pupils and fundraising for local LGBT/HIV charities
