He is the EMTA representative to the Curriculum Sub-committee. Rob has an interest in education (currently battling through an MMed dissertation), research, and technology. Additionally, you may hear him hosting the RCEMLearning podcast. Rob became Co-Chair of EMTA in 2024

Emma is a LTFT and works as the Chief Product Officer at Medics.Academy, a digital medical education start-up. She is passionate about improving working conditions, training and healthcare systems. She is also an honorary lecturer for UCLan, a NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur and a Governor for the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

Natasha is an Academic Clinical Fellow and Emergency Medicine trainee at St George’s Hospital in London. She joined EMTA in 2024 as Research Representative, with a focus on supporting trainees to engage in research and shaping the committee’s research strategy. Her current academic work explores the provision of emergency care to vulnerable migrants across the UK, funded by an RCEM Research Grant. Her wider interests include migrant health, global health education, and health equity.

Dale was the first EMTA Secretary focusing on improving EMTA’s internal governance, communications, and transparency. He has interests in quality improvement, education and leadership and is current Co-Chair of the Quality Assurance and Improvement subcommittee, part of the Quality in Emergency Care Committee (QECC). Dale became Co-Chair of EMTA in 2024. Dale is currently leading the development of the next iteration of the EMTA survey 2021-24 using GMC data and past Survey results to inform it for greater granularity. He also developed the EMTA fellowship app to improve access to fantastic educational opportunities around the UK. Previously Dale has been the Chair and Deputy Chair of the BMA North-West Junior Doctors Committee during the height of the dispute, part of the National committee of Sexpression:UK (Charity) leading communications and branding and established a highly active local branch teaching Leicester pupils and fundraising for local LGBT/HIV charities.

Rebecca joined EMTA as one of the EMTA ACCS representatives sitting on the ICACCST and RCEM Exams and Education committees, before becoming TSC Rep in 2022. Rebecca completed foundation training in Wales and was awarded Best Foundation Trainee 2018. During her junior clinical fellow year in Leeds she was co-creator of the Leeds ED positive feedback and Leeds ED fight club projects. Rebecca has been a scholar with the Healthcare Leadership Academy and is currently Vice President of the Yorkshire Society of Emergency Medicine. She is currently taking an OOPT year in Medical Education

Emma-May Curran is a HST in Emergency Medicine in Dublin, Ireland. She is the current president of the Irish Emergency Medicine Trainee Association (IEMTA). She has an interest in NCHD wellbeing and has previously held the role of wellbeing officer for IEMTA. She also has subspecialty interests in Simulation Based Medical Education and Trauma and is currently completing a Masters in Trauma Medicine. I am looking forward to working with EMTA and to building a network between trainees in Ireland and the UK.

Jo is a born and bred Geordie; she graduated from Newcastle University after obtaining previous degrees in Psychology, a Masters in Neuroscience, where her research was centred around cognitive bias and perceptions of body image and eating disorders, and a Diploma in Medical Sciences. During her medical school years, she was the first president and co-founder of the ‘Mind The Gap’ society at Newcastle University, which strived to promote knowledge, understanding and wellbeing of mental health. As well as this, she organised national conferences with this society, working closely with mental health charities and the RCPsych. She has also previously been awarded and completed a three-year fellowship with the Royal College of Psychiatrists. Her interests include raising awareness of mental health in EM, bridging the gap between psychiatry and emergency medicine, research and education and the wellbeing of EM trainees.

Chelcie is the EMTA Rep to the RCEM Gender Equity Committee (previously WEMSIG). She is the co-founder of Surviving In Scrubs, a group set up to raise awareness of sexism and sexual assault in healthcare.

Chris is an ST5 In Emergency Medicine in Manchester who completed the PHEM sub-specialty training programme with London's Air Ambulance. He is also a registered Paramedic and has worked for the North West Ambulance Service and London Ambulance Service. He has been involved with various organisations working in events medicine and hopes to become a consultant in EM and HEMS in the future. He has been a trainee representative throughout training and have been involved with a variety of projects at the local and national levels. Chris aims to continue the good work being done to promote and improve PHEM training and support doctors who aspire to join this part of our profession.

Later she took on a new role as EMTA secretary in October 2022, and became the Service Design & Delivery Rep in May 2023.

Diana is the HST Trainee Rep for TSC, Exams and Education, and she recently joined the EMTA committee. She’s been involved in trainee representation since her foundation programme on a local and regional level. Diana is passionate about trainee wellbeing, rest culture, and development opportunities. She played a key role in organising West Yorkshire’s first EM Away Day, which focused on fostering sense of community among the trainees.

Sida joined EMTA in 2023 as ACCS Careers Representative. He is currently ACCS Emergency Medicine ST1 in the East Midlands. He completed his medical training St Georges University of London and prior to that completed his Masters of Chemistry degree at the University of Southampton. He is currently the Regional Co-Representative representative for his current ACCS Cohort. During his foundation training in West Yorkshire, he developed an interest in medical leadership. He completed The Healthcare Leadership Academy programme in his FY1 year. In his FY2 year, he was elected the Deputy Chair of the BMA Yorkshire Regional Junior Doctors Committee and appointed the Chair and Lead of the International Healthcare Leadership Academy Conference in 2019 at Amnesty International HQ, London.

Chris Bullock is a HST in West Yorkshire who completed PEM subspecialty training in Sheffield. He joined EMTA as the PEMPAG rep, and is keen to improve the experience of paediatric training for all grades across the trainee spectrum. In his role, Chris creates college guidance for the management of paediatric patients and is keen for feedback on this any any aspect of PEM training.

Di Jackson joined EMTA in 2025 as the Environmental Specialist Interest Group Representative, aiming to integrate Sustainable EM into our everyday practice to help tackle the impact of climate crisis on health and inequality. She is based in the East Midlands and works LTFT as an HST in EM. Di has a Doctorate in Environmental Technology, where her 4 year research project examined biopolymers for use in large scale manufacturing which built on her Materials Engineering degree.

Nish is an EM/ICM trainee and passionate about improving the quality of POCUS training in EM. He completed a PgDip in Medical Ultrasound in 2020 and more recently obtained a Certificate of Clinician Performed Ultrasound (CCPU) whilst working in Australia. He is also a FAMUS supervisor and faculty on various ultrasound courses. He has contributed FOAMed content via Twitter (@NishCherian), Life in The Fast Lane and RCEMLearning. Outside of POCUS, his interests include music, coffee and the outdoors... but mostly POCUS.
